About Emma & Josie

• Emma, a Glendora native and college student, started Josie’s Equine Services to share her passion for horses with her community. Her horse Josie is great for introducing children and adults to western disciplined riding. 
• Josie is experienced in lessons, as well as photoshoots.

Training Philosophy

• Welcoming environment Lessons prioritize a welcoming, fun environment for riders of any level. 
• Safety & Basics: Emphasizes groundwork like grooming, tacking, and safe handling before riding. Emma also emphasizes the importance of explaining why we do what we do, and how horses understand our body language!
• Horse as a Partner: Riding is a very unique sport, having a teammate that does not speak your language and processes experiences differently opens large opportunities for learning and perspective. 
• Catered lessons: Whether you or your child is a first-time rider or looking to improve their skills, our lessons are tailored to meet the riders needs and build confidence.
