Under the passionate leadership of Steve and Sharlene Risdon-Jackson, Sycamore Canyon blends decades of equine expertise with a fresh vision. Steve, with over 30 years of experience as a jockey and professional farrier, ensures top-quality care for every horse. Sharlene brings her dynamic background in corporate and non-profit development, alongside her lifelong love of horses, to create a welcoming and professionally run facility.

Our Facilities
Sycamore Canyon Equestrian Center is proud to offer state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the care and experience of both horse and rider. Our amenities include:
- Multiple Arenas: Featuring several arenas, including two lighted arenas for evening riding and training sessions, we provide the perfect setting for all your equestrian activities.
- Spacious Stabling: Our facility boasts a large 40-stall barn, as well as a variety of boarding options including a Mare Motel, fully covered stalls, and partially covered stalls, ensuring comfort and protection for your horse in all weather conditions.
- Convenient Amenities: Enjoy access to tack lockers, round pens for lunging and training, a hot walker for exercise, wash racks, and ample turnout areas for your horse’s well-being.
- Horse Trailer Parking: We offer convenient horse trailer parking, making transportation to and from our facility hassle-free.
- Scenic Trails: Situated in the foothills of scenic San Dimas and adjacent to Horsethief Canyon Park, our center is surrounded by equestrian trails, perfect for scenic rides and exploration.
